The Gannawarra Solar Farm is a 60.0 MW DC single-axis tracking project located west of Kerang in north-west Victoria. It is the first large-scale solar farm to be constructed in Victoria and is integrated with the Gannawarra Energy Storage System – a 25MW / 50MWh Tesla Powerpack battery.
The Gannawarra Solar Farm is 94.9% owned by Wirsol and 5.1% by Edify Energy and was financed in a portfolio transaction that included the Whitsunday and Hamilton Solar Farms.
