By working closely with Australian landowners, we create mutually-beneficial opportunities – expanding our portfolio while diversifying our partners’ income, as well as contributing to our country’s emissions reduction targets.
For landowners, supporting renewable energy project development means an expansion of income sources across both farming and solar operations. With no capital outlay or operating costs, our partners receive a ‘passive’ revenue stream, along with the longterm certainty (circa 30 years) of inter-generational wealth creation.
What’s more, landowners can benefit from inflation-linked rental increases, or land acquisitions at a market premium. To date, across seven operational projects we have generated approximately $1.5m a year in rental income to landlords.
Edify has helped multiple landowners de-risk their farming operations. With reduced exposure to drought or bushfires, our landowning partners can focus on their day-to-day business safe in the knowledge their farms and their futures are secure.
