Ben joined Edify in 2017 following his involvement in the establishment of the Edify business with its founder (John Cole) in 2015 and in its early developments. He has over 20 years’ experience in the energy and infrastructure space, including in project development, operations, strategy, finance and investments and governance. Prior to joining Edify, Ben was a corporate partner at Ashurst specialising in mergers and acquisitions, capital and debt markets and major projects, including in the power and renewable energy sectors. Before being appointed as Chief Executive Officer, Ben was Edify’s Chief Commercial Officer where he was responsible for developing and executing on Edify’s commercial strategy across the business.

Andrew has sixteen years of experience in Australian, UK and European energy markets. His experience covers energy market modelling, asset modelling, and commercial assessment of renewable and storage projects. Andrew's primary role is to maintain Edify's views of the energy market, to define the value proposition of projects and provide commercial oversight of procurement processes. Central to this role is how projects interface with the broader market, including the identification and negotiation of offtake agreements, grants and more recently technical service contracts. He has been key to all the offtake agreements and grants that have been financed to date across Edify's portfolio of solar and battery projects.

For over 30 years Ian has been a leader in the energy space in Australasia and Europe. His experience covers a broad spectrum of the energy market including transmission and distribution, and renewable generation. At Edify, Ian is the principle technical interface specialising in negotiation and securing grid connection agreements, EPC and O&M contracts, and overseeing project delivery and operations. A professional engineer, with a focus on facing into issues and overcoming them, Ian is extremely proud of his contribution to our clean green energy future and looks forward to working with others to continue this change for the benefit of our future generations.

Sam is an energy professional with extensive experience across the entire life cycle of Renewable Energy projects with a focus on Solar and Energy Storage. His experience includes early-stage development of projects including originating greenfield sites as well as being responsible for the grid connection and planning aspects of the project right through to financial close. Sam is also experienced in negotiating key project agreements such as EPC and O&M Contracts. Sam is the head of Asset Management at Edify taking responsibility for one of the largest solar PV and energy storage portfolios in the country. He has an in-depth knowledge of the technical operations of these assets including the trading and market aspects and looks forward to the challenge of transitioning the energy system to a clean and renewable future.

Huong has 25 years commercial experience and 18 years experience in the Australian energy markets. His experience spans across the value chain from upstream exploration and development, electricity generation, wholesale energy markets through to retailing to end consumers (electricity, gas, solar and battery storage). Huong’s focus is corporate strategy & planning, product development, financial modelling, mergers & acquisitions, business case evaluation, project, and financial management.

Tegan is Edify Energy's General Counsel, ensuring that the team is well-supported from a legal perspective. With over 13 years of experience as a senior lawyer in the energy and infrastructure sectors across Australia, Europe and the UK, Tegan brings a wealth of experience to Edify. Before joining Edify, Tegan was a lawyer at Linklaters, specialising in renewable energy projects and the broader energy transition.

Ben is Edify Energy’s Legal Counsel, working closely with Edify’s General Counsel to deliver strategic advice across the full lifecycle of renewable energy project development and operations. With experience working in HSF Kramer’s sector-focused Projects, Energy and Infrastructure team, Ben brings deep expertise across a range of renewable energy and decarbonisation transactions, having acted for private and publicly owned businesses, as well as for the government. In addition, Ben was an infrastructure-focused M&A lawyer at Allens, including experience with the in-house legal team of an ASX-listed financial institution. Ben is passionate about accelerating the energy transition and understands that Edify’s continued success depends on collaboration across a diverse ecosystem of stakeholders – communities, government, financiers, offtakers and manufacturers.

Andreas is a passionate solar energy enthusiast who has worked for over 15 years in the renewable energy industry in Europe and Australia. He gained experience from design and construction over to the operation and maintenance of several utility-scale solar farms. Andreas has a record of successfully managing on-site operation and maintenance and has extensive knowledge in technical operation and data-driven performance optimisation. As Asset Manager he is responsible for Edify’s operational solar farms and battery storage systems, including contract managing and coordinating with all relevant stakeholders.

Working for more than a decade in the renewable energy industry, Isaac has significant experience in diverse markets including South America, Europe and Australia. Totalling more than 1GWp working on landmark solar projects, Isaac has gained in-depth experience with major participants in the industry, successfully managing the EPC works and O&M operations. As part of the Asset Management team at Edify, Isaac is responsible for managing the portfolio’s solar farms and battery storage systems ensuring compliance with contracts, regulations, and fostering positive relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Kathy is a Solar Energy Engineer who graduated with Master of Sustainable Built Environment and Bachelor of Photovoltaics and Solar Energy Engineering at UNSW. She also certified as a CEC Grid-connect Designer and registered as an IS (Infrastructure Sustainability) Accredited Professionals. At Edify, Kathy provides technical support for projects from the development stage to construction and commissioning. Besides, her work has also focused upon operating the existing solar farms and analysing performance data in order to translate data into actionable information.

With extensive Marketing and Communications experience in Europe and Australia, Michelle has a rich understanding of how to create and execute best-in-class strategies to set a brand apart. Spanning diverse industries over 20 years, Michelle builds genuine connections with key stakeholders through meaningful, relevant, engaging communication. At Edify, Michelle feels a great privilege communicating the success of Edify's groundbreaking achievements and building relationships with our communities, investors, partners, government bodies and landowners.

Manas has 8 years of experience at a large Australian renewable energy gen-tailer across multiple Engineering, Plant Management, and Energy Trading roles. His focus is to help give life to more complex electricity contracting structures designed to face into the emerging risks in the National Electricity Market today including negative prices, transmission constraints and the replacement of traditional thermal generation sources with variable renewable energy and storage.

Josh is a highly skilled data professional, with diverse and extensive domain experience. Passionate about drawing and communicating beneficial insights from big data, Josh’s role at Edify will use a range of tools and industry best practices to transform raw data inputs into compelling stories which drive business value. With degrees from UTS in IT and Business, majoring in data analysis and economics, over the past two decades Josh has worked in a range of industries including engineering, transport, financial services, and now renewable energy.

Delivering commercial and financial solutions within the Australian energy market for more than 9 years, Lachlan's career started in funds management. He has deep experience in the development of renewable energy projects and their associated supporting linear infrastructure. Lachlan brings a focus on valuing and investing in early-stage projects, as well as driving them to financial close and has a wide variety of experience ranging from energy infrastructure PPPs, to signing a startups first PPA. Responsibilities at Edify include management of bid processes, portfolio development, commercial negotiations, energy market operations and risk management.

Alasdair is an experienced power systems engineer specialising in the analysis of renewable energy systems and their performance in the power grid. Developing his analytical skills in the engineering consulting sector, and subsequently at a leading battery integrator, Al led the grid connection for Queensland’s first grid-scale battery. At Edify, Alasdair utilises his expertise with complex computational tools to predict and support the connection of Edify’s projects to the grid and ensure they provide the greatest value to the power system.

Andrew is a power systems engineer with extensive experience in assessing the performance of renewable energy plants. In the consulting sector, Andrew successfully managed and lead grid connection applications and feasibility studies for multiple solar, battery, and hybrid systems, across a variety of inverter original equipment manufacturers. Working in Edify's Grid Connection team, Andrew leverages his advanced knowledge of power systems to forecast and enhance the integration of Edify's renewable energy projects with the grid, ensuring they deliver maximum value.

Patrick is a Chartered Procurement Professional with over ten years’ experience in both conventional and renewable energy sectors. With Edify, his focus is to expand the project pipeline and project manage the development of the company's integrated solar and battery power stations. He holds a Masters of Energy Systems from the University of Melbourne and has experience working in Latin America, Southeast Asia and with an ASX Listed engineering company.

With over a decade of expertise in project management and planning of environmentally focused projects, Adam is on a mission to drive the success of renewable energy projects. From Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to Solar and Wind Farms, Adam has committed to shaping a sustainable future.   Throughout his career, Adam has had the privilege of leading global teams through the intricate planning and execution of renewable developments and infrastructure projects. Collaboration is at the heart of everything Adam does, as he works hand-in-hand with consultants, stakeholders and the community to successfully deliver projects.   Adam plays a pivotal role in Edify’s vision of green energy future as part of the Origination and Development team, progressing new and existing high value development opportunities across Australia.

Elohanna is an experienced Environmental and Agricultural Engineer, having worked extensively in environmental planning and approvals for renewable energy and infrastructure projects. As part of our Project Development team, Eloh plays a key role at Edify in the planning and development of renewable energy projects by advancing high-value opportunities across Australia and navigating environmental approvals, impact assessments, and regulatory frameworks. With expertise in biodiversity, visual impact, traffic, and stakeholder engagement, Eloh ensures projects adhere to environmental best practices and compliance requirements.

Damien has over 20 years of experience in large commercial and industrial projects throughout central and northern Queensland. He is responsible for the construction management of Edify's large-scale solar projects as well as being part of the Asset Management Team. Damien is also involved in Edify's future origination and development of several Green Hydrogen projects in Queensland.

Kris has over 25 years of experience in construction and heavy industry projects throughout Australia. He has a breadth of expertise in power generation and energy storage in the steel, oil, gas and renewables sectors. Kris has worked across both the construction and commissioning phases of projects and is responsible for managing the construction of Edify's Gannawarra Solar Farm, Gannawarra Energy Storage System, Darlington Point Solar Farm, and the Riverina Energy Storage System. He is also involved in the development of future hydrogen, energy storage, and solar projects for the company.

Gareth is a photovoltaics engineer with more than 10 years’ experience working on large-scale renewable energy projects in Australia, South Africa and Southeast Asia. Gareth’s experience spans all project phases in the commercial, financial, and contractual environment of utility-scale renewable energy projects and he is familiar with project risks that arise during each phase. His core capabilities include EPC contract and specification development, negotiation and administration, detailed design review, construction supervision and project commissioning. Gareth is a Senior Development Engineer with Edify and works across the technical and engineering elements of Edify’s projects.

Philippe is an experienced project engineer, passionate about accelerating the energy transition. Spanning the globe, Phil has 10 years' experience in the solar energy sector, working with product suppliers and EPCs in Australia, Europe, Asia, and North America. His career has focused primarily on driving concept designs & cost estimates for large-scale solar EPC projects, with experience in product strategy development for a growing start-up and PV module R&D. As part of the Project Delivery team at Edify, Phil is focused on engineering and procurement, ensuring the smooth progression of projects through financial close and into construction.

Frances is a Chartered Accountant with 25 years’ experience in both the professional services and commercial industries including 15 years with Deloitte in the areas of Audit, Quality & Risk and Regulatory Reporting. She has also been involved in IPO listings, Company secretarial work, the monitoring of Compliance with Corporate Governance requirements for ASX listed companies and the preparation of Financial Reports for ASX listed entities. Part of the Finance team at Edify, Frances is responsible for implementing governance arrangements and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements to all Edify Energy and Project Company stakeholders, and monthly finance reporting for Edify and Project Companies.

Julie has a breadth of knowledge as a Chartered Accountant, spanning a range of industries including construction, financial services, and retail. With over 15 years' experience, Julie's work within the Finance Team centres on the accounting and reporting functions for Edify and the Project Companies they develop and manage.

Matt is a Certified Public Accountant with a diverse skill set acquired over the course of his 12+ year career in the area of accounting and finance. Much of his professional experience includes working for large corporations such as professional services firms Deloitte and PwC in Assurance Services and real estate investment trusts Simon Property Group and Scentre Group in Financial Reporting and Operations Finance. Matt also has 3 years experience working in Uganda, Africa for non-profit and social enterprise organizations in Financial Advisory and Consulting roles. Part of the Finance Team at Edify, Matt’s focus will be company finance, planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, project development financial modeling, and cash flow analysis.

With over 20 years of experience in Office Management, Annalisa brings a wealth of experience to Edify. Managing offices and events across diverse industries in Australia and Europe, Annalisa is always ahead of the game, with effortless problem-solving and seamless coordination. Her background includes navigating international corporate environments, providing invaluable administrative support, and ensuring efficient operations while collaborating with various departments and stakeholders. As Edify’s Office Manager and EA to our CEO, Annalisa’s expertise ensures the team is well supported, coordinated and organised.
