A JCU graduate now heading up Australia’s largest solar farm developer says huge opportunities are unfolding for Townsville if plans for a new power station and industrial precinct are realised.
Edify’s founder can only see enormous potential for renewable energy in his home town. The Townsville Bulletin published a great article today, featuring our very own Solar man’s (aka John Cole) bright vision to spruik job prospects and bring growth to the region.
“It is the number of potential jobs that will raise hopes in Townsville. Mr Cole told a Townsville Industry Breakfast this week the power station would provide more than 400 direct jobs and double that when combined with ancillary services, while the Lansdown precinct could provide in excess of 5000 jobs”
