The Gannawarra Solar Farm is a 60.0 MW DC single-axis tracking project located west of Kerang in north-west Victoria. It is the first large-scale solar farm to be constructed in Victoria and is to be integrated with the Gannawarra Energy Storage System – a 25MW / 50MWh Tesla Powerpack battery.
The Gannawarra Solar Farm is 94.9% owned by Wirsol and 5.1% by Edify Energy and was financed in a portfolio transaction that included the Whitsunday and Hamilton Solar Farms.

6 June 2017: A community consultation and information session was hosted by Edify Energy, together with their construction contractor RCR Tomlinson, at the Wandella Football Club .The event was well attended with over 40 people from the local community listening to presentations from John Cole, CEO of Edify Energy, and Ben Fox, Project Manager for RCR. The event was held in advance of the start of construction, scheduled for the end of June, to inform the community about upcoming activities and provide an opportunity for community members to ask questions of and get to know the project team.
Next community event : August or September (date TBC) when construction will be in full swing.
